We operate on a 'first come first served' basis for these extra-curricular activities, with pupils asked to only sign up for two clubs at a time, ensuring more pupils can take part. The majority of clubs are heavily over-subscribed, such is their popularity, so a waiting list will operate as we always strive to ensure every child has an oppotutnity to particpate. We ask for club payments to be made in advance, alongside their sign up forms. Clubs run by teachers are 50p per session and those run by sports coaches are priced individually. All club sessions for each half-term must be paid for on the day of booking, to secure your child's place. If payment is not made we cannot guarantee a place. We also request that if your child is allowed to walk home after a club, this is stated at the time of booking.
If a child signs up for a club they must show commitment for the entire half term, so careful consideration must be given to choosing the right club. Behavioural expectations are similar to those for lessons during the day and any pupils showing unacceptable behaviours or a consistently poor attitude, they may forfeit their place.
