Children should arrive at school between 8.40am (when the school gate opens) and 8.55am. All lessons start at 8.55am and so pupils should be in school and ready to learn by this time.
If you need to drop your child off before this time, Tregony Community Primary School provides a Breakfast Club. Please enquire at reception for details.
Children should NOT be left unattended before the gates are opened.
8.40 - 8.55am Children arrive and go straight into class. Pupils are expected to be in class and ready for the day by 8.55am.
8.55am - Commencement of lessons.
8.55 - 9.00am - Registration. Any arrivals after 8.55am must report to the school office and will be marked as an unauthorised absence.
9.00 - 10.00am - KS1 Phonics (Read, Write, Inc)
9.00 - 9.30am - KS2 whole class reading
9.30 - 10.30am - KS2 English
10.00 - 10.45am - KS1 English
10.30 - 10.45am KS2 Playtime
10.45am - KS2 Spelling
10:45 - 11:00am KS1 Playtime
11.00am - Maths
12.05pm - Lunchtime
1.10pm - Registration
1.10 - 1.30pm - Assembly
1.30 - 2.30pm - Session 3
2.00 - 2.10pm - KS1 Playtime
2.30 - 3.20pm - Session 4
3.20pm - End of school day. Children are released by class teachers to taxis, buses, parents/carers in the playground. Otherwise, they attend Wrap Around Care or an after school extra curricular activity.
The current school week equals to 32.5 hours a week.
