Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Tregony Community Primary School

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. As Headteacher, I am proud to share information about our school and achievements to give you a feel and flavour of our school.

At Tregony Community Primary School, we are proud of our strong community ethos and family culture that is committed to helping children be their very best. We focus on developing positive relationships with our families and their children, as partners in their children’s education.

Our teachers, along with pupils, parents, community and The Roseland Multi Academy Trust (the Trust), work hard to develop pupils with excellent dispositions towards learning, along with a secure academic and social foundation.

At Tregony Community Primary School, we see children as individuals with their own needs, interests and strengths.  We advocate a cross curricular, topic-based approach to learning with creativity at its heart.  A wide range of enrichment activities are offered to our pupils, as we believe that these experiences enhance the learning that takes place in our school.

The school is purpose built and situated in a rural area, located next door to the Roseland Academy.  We also have our own Nursery (Little Carne Nursery), situated within our school premises.  Our geographical position offers close collaborative learning with the Trust and pre-school; this ensures smooth and seamless educational transitions from 2-16 years old.  The school also has a wrap-around-care facility on site, so children can be cared for from 7.45am through to 5.30pm, for five days a week.

We are proud to be part of The Roseland Multi Academy Trust, which comprises of Tregony Community Primary School, The Roseland Academy, Treviglas Academy, Falmouth School and Gerrans School.

Pupils across the Trust experience many benefits from this collaboration and the sharing of expertise and good practice. Progress from our primary school to secondary education is enhanced through familiarity with staff and premises and through a more integrated curriculum.

If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact the school in advance. We look forward to welcoming you to our school and being part of our school and local community.
